Hunt Custom Surfboards specializes in quality hand shaped longboards with emphasis on classic style and modern performance characteristics. While they do offer a large variety of stock boards, if you can’t find a board that fits your surfing style, they can shape a custom board for you. All surfboards feature Walker Foam blanks and quality glass jobs from Shoreline Glassing, located in Hermosa Beach. All Hunt Custom Surfboards utilize hand crafted fins from Fibreglas Fin Co. Gregg Hunt grew up surfing in California at well known spots like Malibu and D&W Jetty. He began shaping custom surfboards in 2000 specifically for noseriding and trimming and has constantly refined his shapes over the last six years. 6 Comments »By participating in online discussions you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the TERMS OF SERVICE. My sweetest board is a New Dimension shped by Gregg custom for me in 2005. I still surf it regularly up and down the California coastline and every year take it to Baja and Waikiki. It rides like magic. Jd, on June 20, 2010 @ 7:42 am |These boards are soo refreshing. To have a craftsman hand shape a board and refine details are so far from the cookie cutting industies today. These boards ride great and excel in overhead to double over….Surfing for over 30 years and worked with many surfing companies and Hunt Customs are great. Jacob, on September 18, 2011 @ 6:05 am |Just picked up a used 9’2″ classic noserider. I’m very impressed with the craftsmanship of the board, in particular the attention to detail. Love the knife like rails-perfect for noseriding. The board glides like a dream and is beautiful to look at! Leave a comment |
